Ви́ктор Дми́триевич Смо́льский (белор. Віктар Дзмітрыевіч Смольскі; 1 февраля 1969, Минск) — советский и белорусский музыкант, мультиинструменталист, композитор, продюсер. Гитарист всемирно известных метал-групп ALMANAC, RAGE, MIND ODYSSEY и LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA. Педагог, автор одной из самых успешных немецких программ гитарного обучения — DVD «Школа метала» (англ. — «School of Metal»). Член жюри международных музыкальных конкурсов. Постоянный представитель престижных компаний музыкальной индустрии, таких как Yamaha, ENGL, Shure, Cordial, Thomastik-Infeld и др.
Многократный победитель гонок в автомобильном спорте.

в 2013 году Drakkar выпустил еще одно издание работ Смольского. Несмотря на новое название - Two Orchestral Symphonies, это были все те же два старых альбома, The Heretic и Majesty & Passion. Просто теперь в одном двухдисковом джевеле, с новыми обложкой и буклетом. Это издание я тоже купил (из-за второго альбома, мне к тому времени еще не довелось его послушать). На всех этих переизданиях, кста, к The Heretic никаких бонусов не добавилось - всё те же семь песен на сорок с хвостиком минут... прочитать полностью
