Profile Mystic Healer is the project by keyboardist Mark Mangold and singer Todd Googins with a collection of demo songs and new recordings written by Michael Bolton, Aldo Nova, Jack Ponti and Tone Norum among others. From the first chorus of “Crossed My Heart” you know this is going to be something special! The aforementioned “Crossed My Heart” is a good opener, co-written by Al Fritsch, Mangold’s partner in Drive She Said. Not surprisingly the song sounds a lot like a Drive She Said tune, even though the vocals of newcomer Todd Googins are a bit rougher than Fritsch’s. If you were ever into Drive She Said or Touch, do not hesitate to buy this album a fine classic AOR album!
