ReviewKETTLESPIDER are a heavy progressive rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Their overall sound provides a fresh take on 1970's progressive rock with a heavier, post-metal punch.
Formed in 2011, KETTLESPIDER have since released their 2012 debut album, entitled "Avadante". "Avadante" (an instrumental concept album) has received critical acclaim due to the young band's impressive musicianship and honest compositions. The record is powerful and emotive, carried by memorable melodies and some neck-twisting grooves. With "Avadante", KETTLESPIDER have made a big first impression on the global prog scene.
There is no holding back for a band with ambitions like KETTLESPIDER. Their second album is currently being crafted, with the working title of 'Samsara', and is destined to further develop and refine the unique sound captured on "Avadante".
